The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. So, what is a Liebster? The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn’t that sweet? Blogging is about building a community and it’s a great way to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer bloggers/blogs.
Raisa nominated me for the Liebster Award and seeing how this is my second time receiving the nomination, I still can't believe why I got nominated in the first place. I feel like I'm too boring to receive this award and there are still other interesting blogs out there. Nonetheless, I'm thankful for this so thank's a lot, Ricecake!
Below are the list of 11 questions Ricecake wrote for me:
1. What’s the first thing you check online?
Depends. It's either Twitter, Tumblr or Steam especially during summer sale (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و On Twitter, I always check on updates regarding video games. Sigh, my priorities... (灬ºωº灬)
2. What’s your all-time favorite album?
This is a tough one. I can't pick between Fall Out Boy and All Time Low... I suppose I'll go with All Time Low and it's either their "Don't Panic: It's Longer Now" album or their 2015 release, "Future Hearts."
3. What’s your parents’ go-to embarrassing story of you?
I don't really talk to my parents and we kinda sorta have an estranged relationship so... ＼（－－）／ besides, I tend to bottle things up myself so I can solve my problems alone without having to drag others. Plus, my parents never busted / walked in whenever I'm doing anything silly such as when I'm singing in my room.
4. What’s your dream gadget?
Tough one because I'm a total sucker for gadgets, you know me. But right now, I'd say... it's either the Oculus Rift or Microsoft HoloLens.
5. What do you wear when you’re feeling blah?
I feel blah like 90% of the time, to be honest. If I need to go outside, I'd take skinny jeans and cartoon shirt plus a jacket or hoodie and pair them with sneakers (Vans, no Converse). At home, I'd definitely wear loose shirt and normal, comfortable pants.
6. If I wanted to be your friend, how should I do it?
Easy answer: video games, share the same interest with me and above all things, mutual respect.
Fully explained answer:
No small talks, please. I'm an INTJ and if you're familiar with MBTI types, you'll know that INTJs do not like small talks. I find small talks boring, useless and stupidly obvious. Asking me stuff like, "hey look, the weather's really bright today, isn't it?" will just turn me off. Instead, talk to me about the big league - like space, the universe, why are frogs green and other silly stuff that differs from small talks.
Most people think I'm weird because I'm too geeky / nerdy for them; I think about parallel universes, chaos theories and the six degrees of separation theory. You don't have to be Einstein, just be interesting. I like interesting people who are street or intellectually smart.
Then again, it's really tough for me to really, really like someone. Maybe you can engage me in small talks and I might like you - it depends. I just like and dislike some people so it's a 50/50 chance sometimes. I have friends who find my logical thinking exhausting but I still befriend them because they're interesting. See?
Overall, just be a respectable human being and I'll probably like you (σﾟ∀ﾟ)σ
7. What would you find in an inconvenience store?
I'd go to the dairy products section because I'm a). milk-drunk and b). addicted to drinking milk.
8. You have a million dollars to ruin the next Olympics. How are you gonna do it?
I don't even care about the Olympics so can I just use them to buy video games instead?
9. What’s your favorite dad joke?
Dad jokes aren't really my thing, not that I dislike it or anything but I just don't pay attention to them. Here's a good one, however: “Whenever the cashier at the grocery store asks my dad if he would like the milk in a bag he replies, ‘No, just leave it in the carton!"
10. What’s your useless talent?
I can cross my eyes?
11. Really, how are you?
Hm, kind of busy and is emotionally compromised. I'm trying to get back on my toes by playing video games so hopefully I'm back to normal in less than a week (so I can do my internship without feeling shitty too).
That's all for this Liebster Award entry! Again, thank you for tagging me, Ricecake (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)
I'm not going to tag anyone though because I don't know who to tag and I'm lazy to write questions, hah. I'll be back with a July edition of My Favorite Things in the next post to make amend for the June edition that I didn't get to write, sigh. As of now, I'm going to go play some MMORPG game ฅ(*ΦωΦ*) ฅ
